1. General Information

This document establishes the terms and conditions of use for the website operated by The Clever Lab S.R.L. (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator"), a company registered in Romania with its registered office at Strada Sinaia, Nr. 17, Ștefăneștii de Jos, 077175, Ilfov, Romania, Tax ID 42791229, registered with the Trade Registry under no. J23/4285/2021.

By accessing and using this website and/or by purchasing a subscription, the user fully accepts these terms and conditions.

2. Service Description

The Operator provides, through the The Place platform, a subscription (membership) service that grants access to a community dedicated to automobile enthusiasts, culture, and conversations. Members benefit from access to events organized by The Place, including Cars & Coffee meetups, movie nights, F1 screenings, themed dinners, drives, and other community activities.

3. Prices and Payment Methods

The Place subscription costs 50 EUR / month. Prices are displayed in EUR. Payments are processed through the NETOPIA Payments payment processor, in compliance with PCI-DSS security standards. Transactions are carried out in EUR currency.

The subscription renews automatically on a monthly basis. The user may cancel the subscription at any time, with the cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014 on consumer rights, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, without having to provide a reason. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you may contact us at the e-mail address [email protected].

If the service has been accessed or used (event participation, community access) within the 14-day period, the right of withdrawal is forfeited in proportion to the services provided.

5. Service Delivery

Services are provided digitally and do not involve physical delivery. Access to the community and organized events is granted immediately upon payment confirmation. Event details are communicated through dedicated WhatsApp groups and via e-mail.

6. Subscription Cancellation and Suspension

The user may cancel the subscription at any time from their account or by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access to services is maintained until that date. No partial refunds are offered for the current month.

7. Liability and Limitation of Liability

The Operator provides the services "as is", reserving the right to modify the event schedule, locations, or access conditions depending on context. Access to events depends on context and availability. The Operator is not liable for indirect damages or losses resulting from the use of the service.

8. Intellectual Property

The content present on this website (texts, images, graphics, logos) is the property of The Clever Lab S.R.L. and is protected by intellectual property legislation. Reproduction, distribution, or use of the content without the prior written consent of the Operator is prohibited.

9. Amendments to Terms

The Operator reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Amendments take effect on the date of publication on the website. Continued use of the services after the publication of amendments constitutes acceptance thereof.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.
